biography
Marco Demis ( Milan, 1982) studied painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in 2002 and he graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 2007. His work has been exhibited in public spaces and private galleries both in Italy and abroad, including museums and foundations such as: Museo di Lissone, Triennale of Milan, Palazzo delle esposizioni - Rome, Fondazione Stelline – Milan, Museo Civico Palazzo Volpi - Como, Museo del tesoro di San Gennaro - Naples, Museo storico di Lecce. He has held 15 solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad and has published two monographs (“Altari”, “Saro’ grata ai re”). He was a finalist for the Lissone Prize, the Italian Factory Prize, the Suzzara Prize, the Parati Prize and the Celeste Prize. He lives and works in Ponte Nova (Bolzano).
